Blade Taker Job Guide

77 posts in this topic

Thank you very much! :) As of now, I'm a lvl 100 TH following this guide. But I'm pure DEX and a bow user. I guess I have no choice but to use a reskill and restat. But I do want to try this path without using a restat just to see what it will look like as pure DEX before transferring to a pure STR one :))

My mentor told me to just learn the skill at lvl 117. So I'll go with 1 Dagger and 1 Shield Pure STR Blade Taker. :) Although I need to use a restat so that I can go full STR. Being a Treasure Hunter that uses bows, I was a pure DEX player.

it's always your choice to become 1 Handed or become Dual-Wield

but well, Entrapper is still good on 1 Handed, they have Higher Level of Treasure-Hunter's Skills

which means they've Higher Level of Hunter Blast, Hunter Smoke, Shield Boomerang, etc

I think dex until 1.5k crit then pure str is better

also vit is somewhat useless for rouges unless you are going against rk>pally, magnus, or a mage

how about ruffian-thief-assasin-blade taker.can use dual degger?

that's Pure Straight Path, and cannot use Dual Dagger, except later on Big Update the New Skills of Blade Taker can be used only on Dual-Dagger (well this bit remind me for Luna Beta Version) XD

until now, Ruffian> Archer> TH> BT is the Better path :)

IMO, BT job is the weakest and most sucks in CL..
no matter how good your items are youll be owned again and again by the other jobs..
try going to PvP map and challenge players there...
slow casting speed.. squishy... yet unreliable... whats more
if youre planning on dominating (or at least showing off, lol :P ) other players DONT take BT job
i, myself, is a BT player (lv 150) and i found my job is VERY2 regretable (double LOL)
but its a different story if you plan to make a private donation

That is not entirely true. Just because you are a bad BT won't make everyone else bad to.

I know many many great BT's and I am sure they do not regret there class choice.

BT is a difficult class for a reason, if you master its ability and form a good PVP technique BT's have large amounts of potential in both PVE and PVP.

BT is a great class, not the best, but its not the worst either.

BT is the 2nd strongets rogue job imo. second to AR human. now especially after stealth available only for rogues.

what the function of skill that name "dual wield training"?

and is the "rapid attack" skill, i forgot the name, add speed attack for dual wield daggers? or just 1 handed dagger?

and also, "dagger blow" can be used for dual? i saw many screenshot, they learn dual dagger, but they have "dagger blow" skill on their skill list

sorry for my bad english, still learning ^^

-dual wield training: increasing physical attack while you use Dual Wield Sword, the weird is Blade Taker also have this skill... later on Luna Beta, they fix this skill and change it into "Dual Dagger Training" :)

-Rapid Attack increasing your Speed Attack while use Dagger... I think is work too for Dual Dagger, however when we use Dual Dagger we cannot use Rapid Slash and Fatal Blast and other Dagger skills that contains "Character's speed animation", so I'm not sure too if Rapid Attack is work too on Dual Dagger... XD (to make sure Rapid Attack and another aspect that contains Speed Hit is work or not, all we need to do is Spamming skills to Bambooboo on Alker Harbor, if your "character animation" suddenly laggy while spamming skills, it means that Rapid attack or other Speed Hit aspect-things is work) (still confused?)

-Dagger Blow cannot be used on Dual Wield, only Shield Boomerang :) maybe they use it to attack mobs from far since Dagger Blow range is more far that Shield Boomerang... perhaps they use it by remove their secondary weapon on shield slot, by placing Shield Equip on Shortcut Button (yes you can place any Equipment on Shortcut Button to quick Equip/unequip it) and the they use Dagger Blow... well I myself never doing this since is not efficient enough for me... XD

1st: You need to change your job into Blade Taker

2nd: Learn the skill Dual Wield expertise

always keep on mind that Dual Wield Expertise in game are named as "Dual Wield Mastery" :)

(except later the Staffs will change the name during the Updates) XD

and do not be mistaken, there is 2 skills on BT that have "Dual-Mastery" on their names

first is "Dual Wield Mastery", and the other is "Dual Weapon Mastery"... :)

if BT is built in the right way. it can farm well in NH right? ( or entrapper is still better for NH?)  :)  :)

yes it can, what matter really is the way u farm and how long can u farm lol, u may have the better farming char but if youre too lazy to go any class would still be better lol

It would be nice if, for the equipment section, you listed specifically where to pick up each gear item. I've never personally taken the time to learn the drop locations of most gear, both on CL and the original LO before they screwed it up with L+ and it ended up shutting down... I only know of a few item drops, and only from the little experience I had as a mage on LO, where I kinda gave up at around 40-45 due to the grind being a bit ridiculous, and having no friends to make said grind more bearable.
