multi log-ins same unit

Greetings,

I am not against the idea of multi clienting since this is a private server, but do you even know why corporate hosting companies such as GPotato, enforced the 1 unit 1 client? it is to help reduce the stress of the server, more clients = more stress = higher pings = high chances of constant disconnection.

using client more than 2 is and should be deemed as a violation, why? because they are making the server less feasible for everyone to have a worthwhile gametime, SS are proof that certain people abused the multi client capability and should have been banned with both their dummy and main accounts.

whuts wrong?even you suggest that,players will look for other alternative way to dual client.like sanbox.and is dual log in of other player harm you?

I understand the being against abusing it. But there are people who need it.
I dual client. Nearly all the time I'm on.
Just because I can't leave my comp on when I'm gone in order to sell things.
So I have one vendor and my Main dualed.

And like BeLLzEe said, people will always find a way to get around it :/
I knew a few people were able to dual log on Gpot using programs like Sandboxie.

If there was a way to make it controlled (set amount of clients able to be open) I'd be all for that.
But taking it away all together might cause a bit of trouble within the community.

Personally, I agree with Sera. They allowed to use dual clienting and they're just making use of it. Just saying.

BTW 'Dual' means exactly two.

While multi-clienting is allowed, this does seem like abuse.

8 accounts? I checked, each account has 1 character at level 1, purely for fishing.

No, people would QQ about it being unfair and it would be. Especially to the people who can't be on 24/7 fishing.

I'm not going to ban this time, but to me this feels like unfair balancing similar to multivoting.

i would like to rephrase my statement, I am not against dual clienting but against using more than 2 clients which is as stated above is similar to multivoting. So pls. admins lets put stricter rules against using clients more than 2. as it makes the server unstable,

about multi vote,,, may be u or another ppl can report with ur feeling,,, if ur feeling he use multivote u can report it,,,and GM can proces it,,, may be its job for GM...

Our server is capable of handling more than 1500 players logged at the same time. The reason of you feeling slow on latency a.k.a lag is because of server location. We will move our server into a better spot so that we can reduce the latency on our players in asia region.
