Well, I stand corrected. That's a good tidbit to know.

There's a passive called "Rage burst "that only works with swords IIRC. It boosts crit damage. So even in crit damage, axe still loses to swords. Axe does have more crit rate, but losing out on sonic boom and rage burst is a deal-breaker. Basically, there's absolutely no merit to going axe destroyer over sword destroyer, at the time of writing this aside from some minor crit rate boost. That can easily be compensated for on other equips. Stick to sword destroyer.

Migrated to a new computer and downloaded CL from scratch but i keep getting the same error when patching the game with the client. It says "Failed to patch version 17". It's been about a month now. Is there a manual patch available or say a full installer? Or maybe someone can upload their copy of the game? Don't know if thats allowed. Pls help. Thanks in advance.

Title says it all. Which do you think is best to farm Sahel bosses? I am trying to build a BT/blade taker and can't decide between full str or full dex. Any help/advice is much appreciated.

Hey guys, since one handed skills are usable when dual wielding now and shield skills are not, I decided to reskill my SM and now need help in deciding what skills to take. Between fearful massacre, cross slash (upgrades from wind slash I believe) and dual blow, which is the most useful? Or should I not take them at all? Because in comparison to other attacks like Double strike attack, which has poison, the sonic booms, which has range and the rune impact, which has a stun, these skills do not seem that useful. I see. But the critical damage cap is still in place right? Then that means pure dex is still somewhat gimped when compared to full str.

Hey guys, I want to make an entrapper char specifically for farming the nera graveyard bosses (preferably solo).Since there was a new patch that changed some things around, which is better now, human or elf? Also I read that the dex stat does not add to critical damage anymore so I'll be going full str.

Hey guys, just came back from a long hiatus and I am so delighted to find that this server is still running. I noticed that the game has been given a "facelift", for a lack of a better word, as well as some much need QOL changes (The job path tracker is especially awesome). That being said, I find that I quite miss the old bgm of nera castle. Question is, is there any way or option perhaps to bring it back? I don't mind fiddling with some files if I have to. I seem to get stuck at the loading screen whenever I teleport to Nera castle. I then proceed to close the window and try to reconnect. After pressing my character, the list of channels does not show up. Using the teleport feature at the website does help me to get out of the loop but I still can't get to nera castle. Anyone else experiencing this? Sorry if wrong section for posting. (technically it isn't) Thanks in advance.

Just a while ago, when i was hanging out in alker harbor minding my own business, suddenly a swordmaster wearing a Gardener's set and a KOD passes by. Both KOD and Gardener's set are used for eva or rogues or mages, i thought to myself but i never saw a fighter wear one until now. My question is, do people really use light armor on swordmasters? If they do is it good? If it is can you tell me the path to becoming one (just the class job path and stats)? Thanks in advance.

@Fortune Ah i see, so that's the complete overall. Yeah i am planning to use sword in dual only and because the job is called swordmaster after all haha while using 2h axe while not dual-ling for easier farming in lower levels and due to the penalties . Anyways, thanks for the info. I really appreciate it and it really helped me :D . @Alvian Ah i see, just for about 5% pa (if combined) and takes about 15B (if combined), i don't think it's worth it and maybe use it on higher levels instead.
