start using SAI or photoshop it would look clean and you can easily get rid of those extra lines/guides use traditional drawing when trying to come up with the patterns or the story line here's a portrait of myself i made...just now ;) 1. its neat 2.you could easily color it....or shade it manga style 3.you can resize it to fit on your manga page pattern 4.your drawing is nice...you'll get the hang of it while you're making your manga ​
