  1. What's up guys, Shadowlock here again, with another guide (even though my first one isn't finished lol) this one is actually for an Intelligence build for a paladin. What? Fighter that takes INT? check it out. Overview: This is a unique build for an INT type tank. Some of you may think this is crazy, because there are no INT based skills acquired by fighters, but that is where you are wrong. Fighters have two pretty strong skills that are INT based, not to mention with this path you have an almost perfect stun lock and that you will never miss with your INT based skills. These skills are probably mostly neglected by fighters due to their "weakness" but the only reason that they seem to be so weak is because they are INT based and most fighters don't do anything to their INT status. If you have seen these guides before, you may notice that they are STR at first and then at 105 they advise you to restat to INT and reskill to your INT skills and become an int type. This is fine and all, but not all of us have the patience for that eh? We want the unique qualities of the build right off the bat. Well on that note lets get started with this. Race: Elf / Human (either race will do but Elves have natures shield, and humans only have attack increases, which will do no good since your are focusing on INT.) Path: fighter > guard > infantryman > phalanx > paladin Stat: full INT lvl 1-19 fighter Active: strike attack: MAX (you are going to use this skill for its poison effect) attract: lvl 1/5 Buffs: fighters heart: MAX (optional you will never lvl this again with your path) nature's shield: MAX Passive: 1H training: MAX (never lvl this again after lvl 5, this combined with fighter heart gives your strike attack a little punch) enhanced hp: MAX ~All of this can be maxed at lvl 18 lvl 20-39 guard Active: strike attack: MAX shield bash: MAX (this will be your primary stunning skill) Buffs: blessing guard: MAX nature's shield: MAX Passive: heavy armor expertise: MAX enhanced hp: MAX blood leak: MAX (optional) mace protection: MAX (glitched skill effect is applied automatically regardless of whether or not you equip a mace) shield training: MAX ~All of this can be maxed lvl 36 Note: you will have the hardest time in your whole build here, because you have almost no attack power and strike and you are forced to use STR based skills, but the exp is good so just keep on grinding through it your next job will yield relief. lvl 40-74 infantryman Note: Here come your INT based skills, this is good, but you need something else to go along with that. Putting your stats into INT isn't enough alone to be successful. If you have acquired one, you should use a Point of Sword (lvl 42 sword with INT bonuses and blizzard) this gives u another int based AOE to use for a little while. Use this sword until lvl 64 then use a wizardly wand. If you do not own a POS then just wait till 51 and use a holy ove until 64. Use your Wizardly until 82 then switch to an athena. POS: lvl 42 Holy Ove: lvl 51 Wizardly: lvl 64 Athena: lvl 82 Active: strike attack/double strike: MAX holy avenger: MAX holy strike: MAX blunt shield: MAX attract circle: lvl 1 (good for mobbing) Note: the "holy" skills are your main skills now. Be aware that holy avenger consumes hp, so use your heal and potions often. Also it helps alot if you have a lvl 105+ mage for buffs, and especially shrewd spell which does work on your INT skills. Buffs: blessing guard: MAX solid shield: MAX shield barrier: MAX (optional) nature's mind: MAX nature's shield: MAX Passive: heavy armor expertise: MAX enhanced hp: MAX blood leak: MAX (optional) mace protection: MAX (glitched skill effect is applied automatically regardless of whether or not you equip a mace) shield training: MAX troopership: MAX (glitched skill effect is applied automatically) magic barrier: MAX ~ All of this CAN be maxed at lvl 72 but you should prioritize and save sp for your next job change. lvl 75-104 phalanx Active: double strike: MAX holy strike: MAX holy avenger: MAX blunt shield: MAX heal: MAX Buffs: invulnerable: MAX (only 1 lvl, optional) shield barrier: MAX (optional) solid shield: MAX (consumes ALOT of sp, be careful) blessing guard: MAX Passive: heavy armor expertise: MAX enhanced hp: MAX blood leak: MAX (optional) mace protection: MAX (glitched skill effect is applied automatically regardless of whether or not you equip a mace) shield training: MAX troopership: MAX (glitched skill, effect is applied automatically) magic barrier: MAX relaxation: MAX (optional) ~All of this can be maxed at lvl 107, but again you must prioritize for lvl 105 job change, since you will not need a reskill. lvl 105-150 paladin Note: now your defense should be very high and you should start to focus INT philos and reinforcements on your armor. Active: double strike: MAX holy strike: MAX holy avenger: MAX blunt shield: MAX saint shackle: MAX (decent ranged skill) heal: MAX Buffs: invulnerable: MAX (only 1 lvl, optional) shield barrier: MAX (optional) solid shield: MAX (consumes ALOT of sp, be careful) blessing guard: MAX iron shield: MAX Passive: heavy armor expertise: MAX enhanced hp: MAX blood leak: MAX (optional) mace protection: MAX (glitched skill effect is applied automatically regardless of whether or not you equip a mace) shield training: MAX troopership: MAX (glitched skill, effect is applied automatically) magic barrier: MAX relaxation: MAX (optional) ~All of this can be maxed around lvl 129, after that you can start adding stat points to your attract skills to increase threat points on them when attracting mobs. Now you should be a decently powerful tank, having the advantage over normal tanks that your attack power is pretty high and you also never miss. your stun lock has a 98% chance and the stun is for 7 seconds, long enough to use the stun again before it even runs out. This makes you unbeatable in PVP. You are decent in PVE but you can be killed pretty easily with DoTs. Overall, this build is mainly just for fun, but it does offer some advantages. Remember to always equip yourself with the proper items, in this case high VIT and INT armors and weps and also good MP and especially HP bonuses on your jewelry for holy avenger. I hope you enjoyed! You can always reskill and restat to VIT and physical skills and be full tank. Cheers!
