well can you help me, because i cant find the folder to delete the 'patch'

i downloaded Celestia luna alpha but it doesnt work. the start screen comes up and it gives me an option to click start game or exit game, once i hit start game the window vanishes and thats just it. it just vanishes, doesnt pop anything else up, doesnt load anything, doesnt even give me an error screen, it just vanishes. any suggestions?
