  1. No quest, I killed monsters there, leveled up a bit with no problems until I reach lvl 38 then I crashed right away. Relogged, leveled up at lvl 39 then crashed again. One workaround I found is to not go to MBS for leveling lol. Grind to lv 31 at tarintus and kill Orc Archers in Red Orc Outpost
  2. Yikes, illegal item. I'll try to find a nice H.armor first and take you up on your offer :D Thanks a lot Orange!
  3. Thanks for supporting me xD I mean I accept that I'm dumb enough to make mistakes sometimes but a little safety net goes a long way. I remember back in the day, my lil brother accidentally selling/throwing away his equipped Rulers of Hir glove while farming in NH and he can't find anyone selling just the glove since the costume is usually sold as set from the gacha. It was dumb and avoidable but then again, accidents happen.
  4. Hi, I just want to ask this weird thing about my H.armor. As we know, H.armor is crafted from sketches and crafted equipment will have a default craft bonus stat that with text written in yellow. However my H.armor doesn't have any craft bonus. I remember buying this off from a quitting player a few years ago for cheaps. Could this be an old edit item with edit stats transferred to another or is it possible to craft an item without a craft bonus stat because I haven't experienced it and I find it difficult to believe that someone would enhance this to +13 without a craft bonus stat. Thanks guys ^^
  5. So I tried hunting for Point Sword earlier and noticed a problem I've experienced here for years, the map often crashes when you level up (not every single level up tho), this happens almost with every single character I made since I came back in 2018-ish? Thanks a lot admins
  6. Good day Blueland! I just want to suggest some changes with skills that require Purified Gems (i.e., Necro:Vital Explosion, Cardinal: Turn Undead, etc.). These skills can be powerful but are not meta in the current state of the game and on top of that, collecting gem pieces for crafting purified gems can be tedious and take a lot of time, involves resource management and consumes inventory space. I was just thinking why keep this kind of mechanic that makes people not want to use these jobs/skills because of the tedious process, Basically, why use them when there are other jobs/skills that can do almost the same thing. I propose some few changes that might help lessen the tediousness and increase interest for these skills: Remove Purified Gem Requirement and increase SP consumption (actually they eat high SP already from what I remember) to learn the skills Add purified gems or gem pieces for purified gem crafting in Alice's store to make acquiring them easier Change crafting material of purified gem from gem piece to regular gem (example: Purified Ruby will now require Ruby instead of Ruby Piece) Thanks for reading! :D
  7. I understand, for armors it's really not that of a big deal and for weapons, most farmers are BT/TM with dual wield so they would have to accidentally click a dagger for this to happen, very low chance. I usually multitask throwing trash items while attacking to maximize my Extorsion skill duration it's just sometimes I kind of lose focus. May I suggest another one tho? Can we request to disable destroy item for equipped items to avoid unfortunate misclicks? probably around 0.01% of happening but really annoying too. Thanks Orange! ^^
  8. Not sure if this really is a bug or just inherent with the game's system but usually when I'm farming, I sometimes accidentally misclick and drag one of my loot [weapon/armors] instead of some garbage items I want to throw out while casting a skill. What happens is when I return that item into an item slot, it will automatically equip and replace my current weapon/armor. This isn't a problem if your current equipment is of the same level as your character but if your character is deleved, basically you're doomed. You're 10-20 levels below your equipment level and don't have an alternative weapon that is as powerful. Now you're forced to painfully relevel until you can use your weapon back. This doesn't happen much but when it does it's sooooo frustrating, is there any fix to this? Thanks admins! ^^
  9. Crusaders having next to none when it comes to viable weapon options in the late game has been an issue I've notice a few years back which the introduction Corrupted Branch helped solve. However, with Corrupted Branch only at lvl 118 and almost everyone now uses PD weapons, Crusaders are still at a disadvantage. Upon checking of HCM stats, it pales in comparison to scale when compared with Athena's Mithril Hammer and other OG midgame magic based swords. Here are my Observations: Bloody Scimitar [lvl 62] Physical Attack: 88 Magical Attack: 85 Matk to Patk ratio = 96.59% Athena's Mithril Hammer [lvl 82] Physical Attack: 126 Magical Attack: 118 Matk to Patk ratio = 93.65% Now, one weird thing here is that Athena's Mithril Hammer has the same Magical Attack with the lvl 82 1h Staff, Power of Lotus. Corrupted Branch [lvl 118] Physical Attack: 200 Magical Attack: 187 Matk to Patk ratio = 93.5% Now here's the stats of Holy Crusader's Hammer [PD lvl 135] Physical Attack: 270 Magical Attack: 167 Matk to Patk ratio = 61.85% -What's more is that it doesn't add any INT stats unlike the other magic based 1h weapons Now, I understand that HC Mace is probably intended for 1h physical Paladin or Magnus build but with the big disadvantage of not having a ranged skill for them renders mace and axe almost useless in wars and pvp. If we introduce a high level magic based mace [PD or not], we may start seeing a resurgence of Crusaders in the game with them being a sub-tank that can hit both physically and magically without them being too OP since they don't have ranged skills like their other tank/magic hitter counterparts. I'm not asking here that the PD Magic Type Mace be as strong as HC Staff but be powerful enough to make the money spent on them worth it. One problem I see with balance tho is, will the +35 VIT bonus of HC Mace be OP if used in a tank build Cardinal/Necro? Also, if we implement this and add a physical ranged skill for Axe and Mace, the Crusader might become OP. Thanks for reading ^^
  10. Hmmm, I think magic crit is good but Phys Def and Magic Def will just be trash like the pa and ma in philo which will only lower the probability further of getting what you actually want when philoing. Magic cast speed is a bit op that's why they removed the default -10% cast speed effect on rare staves (see original luna items)
  11. This guide is outdated and there are better paths now due to reintroduction of job passive skills, Also, with skill levels, only take skills you will want to retain until late game if you don't have funds for a reskill. Say for example you want to take uppercut, it's okay to max it out since you'd be using it's lvl 11 evolved aoe Skill [Earthquake] later on. Although managing Skill Points early on will be a bit tricky. I'd say learn all the necessary skills at lvl 1 then increase them as you like when you gain more SP
  12. There is no reason for you to take elf on this path, you'd just get more mediocre damage. The only reason people take elf is to go for Rune Walker or Temple Master to get crazy party buffs. This path gives you 40eva job passives & +9eva from Side Step while R>S>RW>E gives you only 28eva job passive & 15eva because of higher Side Step buff but also with critical rate/crit damage/ movespeed party buffs. The difference is only 6eva, the deal breaker would be the amount of damage you would get from Burning Rage vs Elf's party buffs.
  13. This really gets boring if you're a rogue or a mage, what makes this guide manageable is if you use a fighter with attract circle
  14. Purely for farming, Entraps in general have mediocre damage to even excel in PvP
  15. probaby just 83 because you didn't factor additional %pa from risk taker and job passives, how did the BWL work with the destro bro?
  16. A nice fix for block is to change priority calculation, example (110% crit rate) Rogue vs (105% Block Rate) Tank. According to the crit rate of the rogue, all its attacks should be crit while for the Tank, all the damage it receives should be blocked. What seems to be happening is the tank is prioritized and blocks almost all attacks. There's a contradiction there so why not change chance calculation so the 100's would be balanced into 50% dealing crit vs 50% blocking? The problem now is what happens for chars with crit/block rates below 100%. Any suggestions? :D
  17. They fixed this already? Some player before tested this and noticed no change in damage when using axe
  18. So I made a naked lvl 4 fighter w/ beginner sword because of this so there's less factors to consider like passives etc. and here's what I figured: Base pa = 62 Theoretically: pa w/ BWL only = 62 * (100% + 10%) = 68.2 pa w/ lvl 1 Burning Rage(6%) = 62 * (100% + 6%) = 65.72 pa w/ 20% pots = 62 * (100% + 20%) = 74.4 pa w/ BWL + lvl 1 Burning Rage = 62*(100% + 10% + 6%) = 71.92 pa w/ BWL + lvl 1 Burning Rage + 20% pots = 62*(100% + 10% + 6% +20%) = 84.32 Ingame: pa w/ BWL only = 68 pa w/ lvl 1 Burning Rage(6%) = 65 pa w/ 20% pots = 73 (I find this weird, should be 74) pa w/ BWL + lvl 1 Burning Rage = 71 pa w/ BWL + lvl 1 Burning Rage + 20% pots = 83 (also lower by 1 pa probably because of the 20% potion) Based from this, seems like BWL & Burning Rage functions normally while the 20% seems broken I'd imagine it will add less if you have high patk
  19. Bloody Sky is the only AOE, I think Sword Storm is for 1h/dual swords only?
  20. The tooltips on the skills are not updated yet. The best thing to do is probably check guides for classes and see what skill people typically learn cause that would tell you what skills are really useful.
  21. Well the point of minimum damage mechanic is to encourage party grind. Going solo for mage seems impossible depending on the map, mages have fast heal/great heal depending on the path so they'd fare well in NH depending if you invest a bit on pdef. in higher maps they'd probably crumble tanking 2-3 monsters cause they hurt a lot more there. For rogue, well, all of them as long as you're investing in evasion (entrap is a bit problematic tho, mediocre damage) and stay away from matk monsters. For fighters hmmm, I'd say they fall almost in the same club with mage, although tanks can solo but will kill really slow while the other full damage classes will crumble tanking 2-3 monsters but if you pick-off monsters 1 by 1 it's manageable.
  22. Thanks man, people kinda laugh at me during the shield entrap era lol, they don't know I was ahead haha
  23. Introduction: Entrappers have always been the staple farmer job but were now rendered a bit useless in farming past Nera Harbor or maybe even there too because of the implementation of minimum damage mechanic in the game. Before, the farmer Entrap meta was about using its main weapons (dagger w/ shield) then building as much P.def to reduce damage of pirates to 1HP/hit and start building P.atk to 1hit them with Hunter Blast. Dagger+Shield Entrap is still manageable now but you'd be spending more attention on healing (thru pet) and potions with this build which is kind of tedious, that's why people use evasion build nowadays. However, Entrap's p.attack sucks due to lack of Dual Wield and thus, investing in evasion will limit your damage more. So there are two ways to go with this, switch to eva Arch Ranger/Blade Taker/Templar Master or if you're stubborn like me, you'd go Bow Entrapper for your farmer and that's probably why you're here lol. Bow Entrap 101 Part 1: Elf (Nera Harbor) Path: Rogue>Ruffian>Scout>Rune Walker>Entrapper Stats: Full STR WHY NOT HUMAN BOW ENTRAP? Actually, you could go human R>T>R>E/R>S>Ra>E if you want better damage and to avoid annoying party buffs but my only problem with human is the LOW Movespeed and eva compared to elf. Although the lower eva from these two paths won't matter as much on Nera Harbor 'cause you'll get enough with the help of philo on items. The skill set will be almost the same, the only difference is that human bow entrap can get Fire Arrow AOE early at lvl75 so it's easier to level up. Pros: Gives much higher evasion Job passive (28 eva total) than Ranger>Entrapper (better to take human for Ranger>Entrapper) Has lvl 6 Side Step buff (15 eva) Has party buffs: Whispering Wind (145 Crit), Whispering Fire (15% Crit Damage), Whispering Stream (20% Movespeed) Cons: Party buffs are annoying to cast (5-minute duration) Lower P.atk (no Burning Rage toggle buff & lower Bow Training passive) Pain in the ass to level (has dagger AOE: Wind Breaking only until Entrapper) Note: I recommend using dagger and learning dagger skills (follow other Elf dagger Entrap guides) until lvl 105 and use Skill Reset OR if you have RM (you'll need RM buffs for farming), good low level gears and alt characters that can carry you on DD & NH Boost, you can learn the following skills below and grit your teeth for a pain in the ass leveling so you woudn't need Reskill later on lol: Skills to learn Rogue (lvl 1-19) Active Skills: Boost Light Sword lvl 1 (starter skill) Dusk Slashing lvl 1 (optional, 1SP won't hurt) Zephyr (max) Passive Skills: Death Sign (max) Blindside (max) Light Evasion (max) Eagle Eye (optional/doesn't really matter much for farmers) Ruffian (lvl 20-39) Active Skills: Boost Light Sword/Dusk Slashing will still be your main single target skill Wind Breaking (lv 1 only) Zephyr (max) Detect Hole (max) Quick Move (optional, at this point it only lasts for 1 minute) Passive Skills: Death Sign (max) Blindside (max) Light Evasion (max) Light Armor Expertise (optional, monsters don't hurt that much anyways) Scout (lvl 40-74) Boost Light Sword/Dusk Slashing will still be your main single target skill Lure monsters and kill with Wind Breaking Recommended grind spots: Giants (Way to Howling Ravine lvl 44 - 54), Rageful Cyclops (lvl 54 - 63) & DD up to lvl 75 Active Skills: Zephyr (max) Side Step (max) Detect Hole (max) Fatal Touch (max) Whispering Wind (max) Quick Move (optional, 2-minute duration only) Passive Skills: Death Sign (max) Blindside (max) Light Evasion (max) Light Armor Expertise (optional) Rune Walker (lvl 75-104) Boost Light Sword/Dusk Slashing will still be your main single target skill Lure monsters and kill with Wind Breaking Recommended grind spots: DD up to lvl 80 and avail boost service or boost with alt farmer (if you have one lol) up to lvl 105 If you can't afford Boost Service, you can start maxing Power Shot>Double Shot & Bow Training from here and try to level up at Howling Caves 1/2F, Ghost Tree Swamp, and higher level maps/DD Active Skills: Zephyr (max) Side Step (max) Detect Hole (max) Fatal Touch (max) Whispering Wind (max) Whispering Fire (max) Whispering Stream (max) Quick Move (max, I think it's 5-min at this point) Passive Skills: Death Sign (max) Blindside (max) Light Evasion (max) Light Armor Expertise (optional) Entrapper (lvl 105 onwards) Active Skills: Zephyr (max) Detect Hole (max) Extortion (max) Quick Move (max) Hunter Blast (max) Power Shot > Double Shot (max) Hunter Smoke (optional, not much impact really) Fire Arrow (optional: for people with weaker gear as 2nd aoe) Passive Skills: Bow Training (max) Long Shot (max) Death Sign (max) Blindside (max) Light Evasion (max) Light Armor Expertise (optional) Eagle Eye (optional) I recommend leveling up to lvl 110/115 to get more stat points and level up your hunter blast for more damage before deleveling to lvl 95/100 and start farming. You also lose 1eva per delevel so be mindful of that Equipment: Weapon: +12 Hurricane Stinger/Dragon Dusk [c]24/30str [p]20str/14-15eva [r] 20pa or +12 Euryale's Bow [p]20str/14-15eva [r]30pa (have better damage and you won't feel the -11eva penalty that much if you use 14-eva philo items) Armors: 2 or 3 pc. Gardener Set [p]14-15 eva per piece. (Use movespeed rein on boots for smoother farming :D) Helmet: Kynee [p]14-15eva [r]35dex Rings: 2pcs. Hathor's Ring [p]14-15eva Earrings: Darkened Gold Earring (or higher lvl earrings) [p]14-15eva or STR / Flick 19+pa / Flick ms (if you think you can maintain 290-300 eva when you delevel) Necklace: Regulus/Hercules pa would work / Vestige Set eva/str / Chival pa if you're rich lol Belt: FDS 19+pa Head Accessory: the trusty Crit Slime Wings/Cape: Phixus/KOD crit/pa Costume Set: Bache/BWL/Panda Glove or Shinigami/Panda Boots Side Note: My elf bow entrap NH farmer can still manage to maintain eva at 290-300 @lvl 105 even without using Light evasion & V.set while using E.bow STR. You can also use eva Holy Armor Set/HB.set eva if you want higher damage. Bow Entrap 101 Part 2: Elf (Sahel Zone: Dino) Path: Rogue>Ruffian>Scout>Rune Walker>Entrapper Stats: Full STR This is practically just the same path and skill build as part 1. The only difference is the item build but we'll also focus more on the pros and cons of using Elf Bow Entrap when compared to the typical Human R>S>TH>AR/BT farmers in Sahel. Also an important point to consider is you'll need RM + Destro (Fighter's Heart & Solid Weapon) buffs when farming at Sahel. Pros: The only reason why Bow Entrap works is because of the lvl 4 Extortion (+45% Drop Rate and shorter cooldown). Bow Entraps generally have mediocre damage when compared to AR/BT which can 2-hit Dinos with Hunter Blast + Smoldering Shot/Wind Breaking (good area too) while Bow Entraps usually kill Dinos with 2x Hunter Blasts. But because of lvl4 Exortion, you can cast it two times within 15-minutes and farm full 3-bags of weapon drops almost as fast as AR/BT. Furthermore, If you get really good equips, you may even 2-hit Dino with Hunter Blast + Fire Arrow and farm even faster than AR/BT. Better evasion (28 vs 20 total eva Job Passives & Side Step lvl 6 = 15eva vs lvl 4 = 9eva) Has better movespeed because of party buff. Elf has better hairstyles lol Cons: Again, mediocre damage because of the lack of Burning Rage and low Bow Training (lvl15 only for elf) passive Costly and requires really good items to actually do decent damage Secondary AOE has poor area & damage (Fire Arrow only has 2.5m radius) even worse with elf because you'll only get it at lvl 15 max Equipment: Weapon: +12/13 Emerald Glider [p]15-16eva (optional mix str/dex) [r]29-30pa Armor: L.armor [c] 49-50str [p] 15-16eva (optional mix str/dex) [r]25 str Glove: V.glove [p]14-16eva [r]35str Boots: L.boots [c] 49-50str [p] 15-16eva (optional mix str/dex) [r]11-12eva/95-100 movespeed Helmet: M.cap [p] 15-16eva (optional mix str/dex) [r]35dex Rings: 2pcs. Hathor's Ring [p]14-16eva (optional mix str/dex) Earrings: Darkened Gold Earrings (or higher lvl earrings/Hegemonic Rainbow) [p]14-15eva Necklace: V.neck [p]14-16eva [r]35str or Chival 19.7-20 pa (optional & use L.glove [p] 50str [r] 14-16eva) Belt: FDS 19.7-20+pa Head Accessory: the trusty Crit Slime Wings/Cape: Wind Stalker's Hide 4+% pa Costume Set: Bache/BWL/Panda Glove or Shinigami/Panda Boots This item build probably would give you more evasion than you actually need (395-400eva) when you delevel to lvl 120-125 (optimum level for Dino farming) so I would recommend you switch like 2 items/accessories to STR like going V.set 50+str or V.glove eva + V.neck pa/STR / use 19.7-20 pa or 25-30str earrings. Bow Entrap 101 Part 3: Human (Sahel Zone: Dino) Path: Rogue>Ruffian>Scout>Ranger>Entrapper Stats: Full Dex / Dex Str Hybrid Building this char can be a bit tricky, this has the same evasion with AR/BT from Job Passives and lvl 4 Side Step so the only way to make up for it is to use higher eva items or actually invest in DEX although you might end up with a lot of crit rate more than you need. Also an important point to consider is you'll need RM + Destro (Fighter's Heart & Solid Weapon) buffs when farming at Sahel. WHY NOT TAKE THIEF INSTEAD OF SCOUT? You could also take Thief but here's the trade off. With Thief you'll lose lvl 2 Whispering Wind buff, 12 eva from Job Passives, and 9 eva from lvl4 Side Step in exchange for +2% P.atk & +2% Crit damage Job Passives. To me that's just not worth it especially in Dino where eva is very crucial. Pros: Better p.atk than elf (lvl 3 Burning Rage & lvl 20 Bow Training passives) Like elf entrap: lvl 4 Extortion vs lvl 2 on AR/BT and possibly 2-hit dino with Hunter Blast + Fire Arrow Has lvl 20 Fire Arrow (lvl 15 only on elf) Can get Fire Arrow at lvl 75 so leveling is easier Has only two 5-minute buffs, less annoying Cons: Has lower movespeed Evasion is lower by 14 than elf entrap (dex on stats may cover for this one) Fast Reload's duration is so short (the skill is irrelevant for this build tho). Also costly with the equips, if you go dex str hybrid stats you can probably use L.armor [c]49-50dex which is relatively cheaper than [c]str Skills to learn (Same as elf up to lvl 75) Rogue (lvl 1-19) Active Skills: Boost Light Sword lvl 1 (starter skill) Dusk Slashing lvl 1 (optional, 1SP won't hurt) Zephr (max) Passive Skills: Death Sign (max) Blindside (max) Light Evasion (max) Eagle Eye (optional/doesn't really matter much for farmers) Ruffian (lvl 20-39) Active Skills: Boost Light Sword/Dusk Slashing will still be your main single target skill Wind Breaking (lv 1 only) Zephr (max) Detect Hole (max) Quick Move (optional, at this point it only lasts for 1 minute) Passive Skills: Death Sign (max) Blindside (max) Light Evasion (max) Light Armor Expertise (optional, monsters don't hurt that much anyways) Scout (lvl 40-74) Boost Light Sword/Dusk Slashing will still be your main single target skill Lure monsters and kill with Wind Breaking Recommended grind spots: Giants (Way to Howling Ravine lvl 44 - 54), Rageful Cyclops (lvl 54 - 63) & DD up to lvl 75 Active Skills: Zephyr (max) Side Step (max) Detect Hole (max) Fatal Touch (max) Whispering Wind (max) Quick Move (optional, 2-minute duration only) Passive Skills: Death Sign (max) Blindside (max) Light Evasion (max) Light Armor Expertise (optional) Ranger (lvl 75-104) You can now switch to using Bow, killing monsters and leveling is easier from this point if not for the exp curve lol Active Skills: Zephyr (max) Fatal Touch (max) Quick Move (max, I think it's 5-min at this point) Power Shot>Double Shot (lvl 11-15 or max) Fire Arrow - AOE (lvl 1-5) Passive Skills: Bow Training (max) Death Sign (max) Blindside (max) Light Evasion (max) Long Shot (optional) Light Armor Expertise (optional) Entrapper (lvl 105 onwards) Active Skills: Zephyr (max) Detect Hole (max) Extortion (max) Quick Move (max) Hunter Blast (max) Hunter Smoke (optional, not much impact really) Fire Arrow - AOE (max but you don't have to do it at lvl 105) Passive Skills: Bow Training (max) Long Shot (max) Death Sign (max) Blindside (max) Light Evasion (max) Light Armor Expertise (optional) Eagle Eye (optional) Equipment: Weapon: +12/13 Emerald Glider [p]15-16eva (optional mix str/dex) [r]29-30pa Armor: L.armor [c] 49-50str/dex [p] 15-16eva (optional mix str/dex) [r]25 str Glove: V.glove [p]14-16eva [r]35str Boots: L.boots [c] 49-50str [p] 15-16eva (optional mix str/dex) [r]95-100 movespeed Helmet: M.cap [p] 15-16eva (optional mix str/dex) [r]35dex Rings: 2pcs. Hathor's Ring [p]14-16eva (optional mix str/dex) Earrings: Darkened Gold Earrings (or higher lvl earrings/Hegemonic Rainbow) [p]14-15eva Necklace: V.neck [p]14-16eva [r]35str Belt: FDS 19.7-20+pa Head Accessory: the trusty Crit Slime Wings/Cape: Wind Stalker's Hide 4+% pa Costume Set: Bache/BWL/Panda Glove or Shinigami/Panda Boots Here, I'm not really sure if you could switch some eva accessories for STR/pa and have around 395-400 when you delevel to 120-125 (you lose 1eva per delevel), maybe you can switch just one item like an earring or get 25++Str/19.8-20pa on either V.glove or V.neck to save some gold since full eva V.set is really expensive. My guide is done! Thanks a lot for reading! :D
  24. And if Majin won't be implemented on this server, I think it's nice if some Majin hair and skin color could be applied to human and elf. The ears could still be the obvious difference between the two :D
