Introduction-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To start off this lovely guide, we'll start you off with a Legend for the color coordination.

  • Everything Human related will be Red
  • Everything elf related will be Green
  • Purple will be Questions and Answers. (I will be adding the answers to you guys questions here.)
  • Blue will be the basics of your build.
  • Black will be the final piece of this guide, your equipment, combos and war strategy.

We'll start off with:

Questions & Answers------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Q: What's this classes main advantage?

A: This classes main advantage is its ability to wield 2 One-Handed weapons. It also has level 25 sonic boom and multiple single target skills for chaining attacks in quick succession. This class is for players who wish to be on the full offensive.

Q: What's this classes disadvantage?

A: As stated before, this class is for players who want to be an attack specialist. What you gain in attack power, you lose in defensive power.

The Basics----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To start things off, there are a few things you must know about this class.

For one, you will lose the following stats if you decide to go into your dual wield passive:

  • Physical Attack
  • Critical Rate
  • Evasion

So be aware, dual-wielding at lower levels isn't advised as you will lose a HUGE chunk of your stats as a cost.

The recommended level for dual wielding is level 117, by this time the penalties are half of what they are at 105. Patience is key.

Another key thing to note is that for the Human path, you will HAVE to get strike in order to hit some of your opponents because they don't have Rune Impact, like the Elves do.

Pros for Human: More critical damage and physical attack.

  • Human path can get the skill Rage Burst and has a higher level of Risk Taker.

Pros for Elf: Party buffs, More strike, Rune Impact (Never miss skill).

When discussing the path, I will put classes that are for the HUMAN PATH, in Red, and the ones for the ELF PATH, in Green, everything else will be listed in blue.

You will be going Two-Handed for easier leveling.

Path

  • Warrior
  • Active Skills
  • Crash Blow
  • Uppercut
  • Fighters Heart
  • Sword Training (must be sword)
  • Two-Handed Training
  • Burning Rage
  • Nature's Shield

Now here's where things get interesting, so I'll show you your options and it's up to you to decide.

Level 40--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Human: Infantryman or Swordsman

This choice here all depends on your preference of armor. Your armor won't make much of a difference as you'll already be pretty squishy, but if you like the extra HP and the ability to use a shield more effectively, choose Infantryman.

However, Swordsman has something over Infantryman, in Sleep. Yes, with the human path the only way to obtain sleep is by going Swordsman and g

etting the level 15 skill, Spirit Sword.

Infantryman's Skills

  • Heavy Armor Expertise
  • Blessing Guard
  • Heal
  • Troopership
  • Blood Leak
  • Attract Circle
  • Burning Rage

Swordsman's Skills

  • Burning Crash
  • Earthquake
  • Sonic Boom
  • Sword Storm
  • Spirit Sword
  • Mana Storm
  • Two Handed Training
  • Sword Training
  • Burning Rage

Elf: Infantryman

  • Heavy Armor Expertise
  • Blessing Guard
  • Heal
  • Troopership
  • Blood Leak
  • Attract Circle
  • Nature's Shield

Level 75--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Human: Gladiator

Elf: Rune Knight

Gladiator

  • Burning Crash
  • Earth Wave
  • Earthquake
  • Wheel wind
  • Two-Handed Training
  • Sword Training
  • Risk Taker
  • Rage Burst

Rune Knight

  • Burning Crash
  • Rune Impact
  • Sonic Boom
  • Earthquake
  • Wheel Wind
  • Rampage Aura
  • Shield Aura
  • Accuracy Aura
  • Two-Handed Training
  • Sword Training
  • Spirit Aid
  • Spirit Sword (optional at this point)

The rest of your SP is yours to spend, or you can save it for your job change, as you won't be reskilling until 117.

Level 105

Sword Master

Do not reskill until you are level 117.

Ah, you made it this far, eh? Props. Here is your reward

Note that the builds listed are your FINAL build, you will not have enough SP to max all of these skills at 117.

  • Dual Sonic Blast
  • Fearful Massacre
  • Cross Slash
  • Dual Blow
  • Sword Storm

  • Blessing Guard
  • Solid Shield (if you switch between shield and dual wield)
  • Shield Training (in-case you equip a shield.)

  • Burning Rage
  • Lace
  • Risk Taker
  • Rage Burst
  • Dual Wield Expertise/Mastery/Training
  • One-Handed Training
  • Sword Training
  • Light armor expertise (if you went Swordsman and you decide to use light armor)
  • Heavy armor expertise (if you went Infantryman and decide to use heavy armor)

Combos in war:

This one's a little bit tricky, as everything is completely situational. You want to save your Sonic Boom for those important moments, like when there's another fighter coming for you. I recommend using Dual Sonic Blast to take out any Rogues, and your Sonic Boom is reserved for Mages and other Fighters. Your skill chain should be as follows:

Sonic Boom>Dual Sonic Blast>Fearful Massacre>Cross Slash>Dual Blow (Repeat)

If there is anything I missed, feel free to comment it down below, and enjoy my guide!

Very comprehensive guide, as expected from you Jonah :D

Although I have a question, why Cross Slash instead of Double Strike?

I prefer cross slash as it lowers the opponents physical attacking power by 20%.

However I am sure you'll have enough SP to max both by the time you reach 140++

When passive job is fixed, these paths are going to be reliable correct ?

I wish I went swordman instead of infantry T^T I need sleep

When job passives are fixed these paths will still be reliable however I will add a pure path for the human so they can get the pure human path.

Sir can you make 1h hitter magnus guide too if you have time :)

This guide goes into detail about the 4 different Magnus types you can have. While you can get damage, a hitter magnus isn't really possible if you go 1H. If you want to have more tankiness, go Phalanx instead of Knight.

What stats for leveling sirs? Do I need restat? What do I restat to and when?

I recommend going Dex all the way so you won't have to restat.

However if you do have the gold to restat, go VIT for leveling and once you get to 135+ you can go DEX.

That skill calculator isn't accurate in many regards as it isn't for Celestia Luna.

I assure you it is for physical attack and it actually does some pretty good damage.

So at lvl 135 , SM will still use heavy armor (no matter elf or human).. That means, I dont have to get Light armor expertise even I went the swordsman path right? Thanks ^_^

I'll be changing this soon but honestly your armor type doesn't make a difference. As well as the fact that swordmaster has a ton of SP so you can max out both of the expertise skills with no problem at all.

sir, i just found out this server after almost a decade not playing good old Luna. I'm planning to return with some friends for nostalgia sake.
if i'm to make swordsmater elf, is it really highly reccomended to take infantry path than swordsman path?
i'm missing a lot of memories and game familiarity after such long time.
TIA

Hey, join our discord to get faster responses! Infantry gives you some defensive skills and passives, while swordman gives you the higher job passive, so it's really up to your preference~
