    Necro post to clarify.

    At the moment, us GM's can't rename your characters.

    So if you have an offensive username like P1gFvcker or S4ndN1gga, the only thing we can do is ban that whole account.

    Remember guys, rule number 1 is use Common Sense.

    I'm going to ignore slang for the moment to address some even more serious problems with translating.

    Google actually does a really good job, the problem lies in how some languages can be interpreted in different ways.

    Let's take for example, Indonesians lack of past, present and future tense.

    I Kicked the Ball. I'm Kicking the Ball. I Will Kick the Ball.

    Would be the same.

    Then you've got the problem of languages like Japanese or Chinese which are sometimes impossible to translate directly into English.

    There's sentences you'll stumble across which are written the same, but have TOTALLY different meanings based on context.

    Then we have the issue of actually trying to implement it into the game. Yikes D:

    "Duped", "Reinhacked", or "Hacked" Items are usually items with stats on them that you shouldn't be able to get.

    For example, if you've ever tried to reinforce a costume you'll notice you can't. Hacked costumes have reinforced stats.

    Same goes for something like Shoes.

    You can only reinforce Shoes with Move Speed, Evasion and HP Regen.

    So if you see shoes with Physical Attack then you know they're hacked.

    You can tell the difference between reinforced stats and philosopher stone stats because they're different colors.

    I think reinforced stats are blue and philo stats are purple.

    Ignoring the all caps, non-english and spam shouts (pretty much all of them), the ban was most likely for trying to sell your character.

    There are probably 100 topics asking the same thing.

    It's not instant and can take anywhere from 24 hours to 3 days.

    After that you'll need to contact payment because there's possibly a problem.

    Selling Char - Prohibited ??

    Actually, you'll find this is a common rule on pretty much every official and private server.

    Before I get into telling you why you're wrong, I'd like to point out that I'd have taken this a little more seriously if you weren't recently banned for trying to sell your character.

    You see, if you'd taken issue with selling accounts BEFORE getting caught breaking rules you KNEW you would get permanently banned for, then I wouldn't be associating you with all the other cheaters desperately trying to get their accounts back.

    But anyway, to get straight to the point. Do you REALLY think you own your character?

    You're trying to tell my you own the rights to our database and server space that your character data is currently occupying?

    Don't be so naive.

    Here's a fun exercise for you in digital rights.

    Go buy a copy of Microsoft Windows or Office or Adobe Photoshop and try selling it on eBay. Or sharing it online.

    It will get taken offline immediately, your product key banned, and you will possibly get taken to court.

    Do you know why? It's because you DON'T own it, and you do NOT have the rights to do what you want with it.

    When you create an account here, you're agreeing to follow the rules.

    What you're suggesting, is that someone with enough money should be allowed to just buy a high level character.

    Do you hate poor people, is that it? You want someone with enough money to have a better character than someone who doesn't?

    Because that's what selling characters is. You're letting someone have your character for zero effort, while someone who can't afford it has to grind their way up.

    That's pretty unfair and you're a terrible person for suggesting it.

    EDIT: Oh and you're lucky you were selling a character on the same account. Otherwise I would have banned alce, cimunz, mariani, namine and pooh as well.

    There's no email to verify.

    When you register an account, you should be taken to the home page again, and in the user panel, it'll say "Welcome [name]".

    If you get taken back to the register screen, there should be a message above the register button in red, telling you what you did wrong.

    BTW, just out of curiosity, what browser do you use?

    IE, Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera, Other?

    RMT counts as any transfer of real world currency, credit or items and is forbidden.

    Account or Character Trading is also forbidden especially if it's for another game (which would also count as breaking Appropriate Speech).

    Permanent Ban in every case.

    If it was one item or maybe even two on ONE character then that MIGHT have been a mistake.

    Unfortunately for you there were multiple hacked items on MULTIPLE characters, on MULTIPLE accounts. I think the worst offender was probably the reinforced costumes.
