  1. I too am using x64 bit system and that means nothing, x64 systems run x32 software without any problem so the issue lies somewhere else.

It sounds like your download might have been corrupted or tempered with, for example if you have an antivirus it could be locking it up, however antiviruses only do that after you've already installed the game and they might only have a problem with LUNAClient.exe marking it as a false positive.

Have you tried re-downloading? Maybe using a download manager (FDM is free)?

Would using a different browser do anything?

  2. When I try to open the Alpha Setup, I get an error message saying:

"The version of this file is not compatible with the version of windoes you are running. Check your computers system information to see whether you need an x84 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher"

I do not know what to do, because there is no option to download x32 or x64 bit.

I am using Windows 7, and my computer is a x64 bit.

    Any help will be appreciated.

  3. Well, when I open the launcher and click start game, the game client doesn't show up. I have AVG disabled, but it still does not appear. Please help                   :(

  4. Oh yeah, BTW everyone who posted, I am very grateful for telling me this. This will help I just know it. I'm going to try it now and see if it works. I have my fingeres crossed.

PS. I did download it from the Homepage for who was wondering.

  5. Okay, well does it say what file is causing the trojan popup?  Might be able to help you if you elaborate more :)

    Threat:   Trojan horse Crypt_c.JBB

    Object Name:   c:/Program Files/Celestia Luna Online Alpha/LUNAClient.exe

Hope this helps you figure it out.

  6. Okay, so I downloaded the client. I was all like YESSSS! But then it had to install. Okay, waited. DONE! And then my AVG protection spotted a Trojan Horse.crypt. What??!?! I wanted to play. How do I let AVG know that I want to play it? I know it's a Trajon Horse, but I've been waiting SOOO long to play Luna again after gPotato shut it down. If you can help me fix this I will be very gratefull. BTW I'm using Windows XP.
