whyban on IRC

I keep on asking on IRC why a player is banned and it keeps on answering me "<player name> is not banned." I looked at the judged section to have some example names like flemtower who made a fault on KS and spot claiming. Then I enter IRC using Xchat and typed .whyban flemtower. Suddenly shoutbot replied "flemtower is not banned."

Im confused. It always answers me "<player name> is not banned."

you need ID when u ask . whyban IDname

if we put IGN to ask, the answer will 'not banned'
