The issue was my AV, though I turned it off it was still running against the game and therefore blocked me from connecting to the server. I had to uninstall the entire AV and get a new one. DON'T use Avast if you intend to play games on your computer, it won't let you connect ever. I learned this the hard way.

I have this same issue, it won't connect to the server correctly either.

I have searched through the forums with people who have the same issue and I did delete the patch, turned off my AV's as well as reinstalled the thing. I'm almost there just need to connect to the server. v-.-v Any ideas please? The issue is obviously that there is no log in screen and I can't connect to the server either because I have no character. No log in screen pops up at all, when it launches and I select "start game" it takes me automatically to the server.

I did and that worked, but now my current issue is figuring out how to get it to connect to the server.

The issue below was solved successfully and now my issue is connecting to the server. Having a successful download and installment were fine, no issues there. However when I launch the game I always get the same problem: I uninstalled and reinstalled, cleaned out my cache and Internet junk, still got the same thing with my only option to exit the game. I'm not sure what the update08-2.luna may be other than another file. I also happen to get a few pop-ups of the game where I could decide the size of my screen and when I selected then clicked, "ok" it would disappear as though it was trying to load but nothing happened after that. A little help here?
