Dropper Malware on LunaClient.exe

My antivir detected a TR/Drop.Agent.kcz.4 now i cant even connect to the game.. could you please check the patches before releasing them? Thank you.

my antivir detect that too.. but i still can play by turn off the antivir.

Usually if i forgot to turn off the antivir and click start on patcher, nothing happen, the game will not start
i have to install it again
so dont forget to turn off ur antivir before play :lol:

usually ppl said that antvir always detect game as virus.
is the DropAgent virus or not? i dunno :wacko:

Drop agents are malware that may make modifications to you registry, spy out data or violate your privacy. They could cause medium to major damages to your computer.

 

Well, that's what I read about. The only way to remove the DropAgent from the client is for the mods to give out a new patch that can over write the old Client removing the malware with it or installing a clean game :D

I can assure you there is no virus in our client. Antivirus software detects our client because it's encrypted and a lot of viruses also use the same type of encryption.

We encrypt our client to help prevent people from modifying their client in any "illegal" ways.

I'll be looking into some better encryption that does not set off antiviruses in the next update, but in the mean time it's safe to tell your antivirus to ignore the threat as it is a false positive.
