You could always put CL in the allowed programs list if your antivirus has that. I just turn mine off when I play CL though.

Antivirus programs always think games are a virus. As long as you downloaded the patcher from the celestia Luna website it's totally safe.

I'm not sure if you're referring to Maggot George, Richard and John as the "giant maggots" If you are they're at the very end of the map where the small maggots were in gpot. There aren't any mossies except the random few near the hornets. But all in all this is how the map is supposed to be x: Nothing is bugged about it. It's just the less updated version of the map.
