I will say no for 2H Paladin. Why? At Paladin, u won't get any 2H skills so that's mean ur damage will be same like ur previous class. Gladiator for example.
I suggest u try Phalanx-Destro. It much better than u try Gladiator-Paladin.
Why?
U use 2H so all shield skills from Paladin will be useless. Except u will switch from 2H to Shield and vice versa on battle, but that still take ur time.
Defend skills from Phalanx and Paladin don't give much different..
Same lvl of HAE, Lv 4 (Phalanx) and Lv 5 (Paladin) Troopership - 1% different, Lv 6 (Phalanx) and Lv 8 (Paladin) Blessing Guard - 2% different.
Only 3 skills that give p.def and total only 3% p.def different.
And also Magic Barrier Lv 10 (Phalanx) and Lv 15 (Paladin) - 5% m.def different
Now how about p.atk?
Risk Taker - Lv 6 (Gladiator) gives 38% p.atk and Lv 8 (Destro) gives 44% p.atk
Warrior Form - Lv 6 (G) gives 15% p.atk and Lv 8 (D) gives 20% p.atk
Two Handed Training - Lv 20 (G) gives 30% p.atk and Lv 25 (D) gives 37.5% p.atk
Sword/Axe/Mace Training - Lv 20 (G) and Lv 25 (D) which gives 4% p.atk different
Fighter Heart - Lv 6 (G) gives 60 Str and Lv 8 (D) gives 80 Str
Rage Burst - Lv 4 (G) gives 21% Crit Damage and Lv 6 gives 24% Crit Damage
Fatal Force - None (G) and Lv 2 (D) gives 35% crit damage
Conclusion :
Phalanx - Destro : Lost 3% p.def and 5% m.def but get that p.atk and crit.damage
Gladiator - Paladin : More 3% p.def and 5% m.def but lost that p.atk and crit.damage
Well.. That's just suggestion.. :)
But if u still wanna try 2H Paladin, try Warrior-Mercenary/Swordman-Gladiator-Paladin
