What is the used of GrandMaster?

I just want to ask about grandmaster.. Their pros and cons.. Is grandmaster only for PvE and can't do anything on Guildwar or in PvP? Becuz ryt now i have a lvl 105 Bishop (path mage>wizard>Monk>Bishop) im just confused what job should i take Necro or Grandmaster! This is my main character! thank you very much for your help!
