i know, i've tried both. see this combination: Chivalry + Holy armor set = high defense, high HP, good if you use your magnus for tanking, but less around 200/300 crit rate, and lower crit damage. HB + Lvl 115 str craft heavy armor set = high damage, but low hp and defense. but still, epic crit for fast killing. vulnerable in war HB + Holy armor set = best combination. balanced set. lol sorry for straying from main topic. but i guess you get the point. i prefer HB set, since magnus should play critical (defense already high). but you still gonna need chivalry at grave.

dragon slayer (aka tarintus belt/tbelt) is a belt. there is 5 type of dragon slayer:divine master, armor master, log master, spell and weapon master. all gives different stats. for example armor master gives bonus defense, while weapon master gives physical attack. check this out: http://celestialuna.com/itemshop/cat/equipment#content

i would prefer 2h, and focus on pdef + crit. you could be a versatile tanker, in grinding, war and pvp. if you have good mixed item, you could get 4.5+ pdef, that would be enough to be quite a tanker. 7k+ damage would be enough if you have decent crit. and plus, like shadowdog said, you'll have aoe stun skill, which is very useful while grinding. btw i took phalanx instead of knight so if you follow normal path our stats will differ (no big really)

if you are in duel, suddenly someone uses stealth, you go stealth too. then you spam rune cry skill. if the skill hits the hiding opponent, the opponent will be visible and you can aim/attack normally

as for me i prefer 2h magnus. get some good vit and str items, use crit items (crit slime, Hb set, crit cape etc) and use G axe +13 preferably. you'll get some decent defense, enough to get only 1 damage from most mobs at NH, and good crit damage for fast killing (like 2-3 aoe hit) and btw, 2h is awesome cuz it gives earthquake, very useful for solo grind, combined with sword storm, you'll be an solo grinder. destro is also a fast killer, but i wouldnt take any risk. destro got low hp and defense. you shouldnt mess with stun-lockers mob such as the bluebeards at NH, once you get stunned, it may stun you till you die

i always thought so too, 1p.a=2str, but the result of my test is like u guys said, its not always the same so job really affects huh? any destro ever tried comparing?

usually in MMO, quest helps to get high exp. but in private server, exp already high. so in this case, quests isn't that helpful. no one actually takes quest for the rewards in here.

Hi, i'm a magnus. i've been wondering, which one is better to use, 25+ str Hathor or 19+ p.a hathor? some says it depends on the job, but i dont see the logic. i once tested it and some results in 25+ str gives better outcome, so i'm kinda confused here i hope some experienced players could answer this

you dont need to the quest. quest are not really useful in this server. and tarintus spawns at Distorted Crack. if the server down, after it comes back on, go quickly to Dist Crack maybe you could find a tarintus

its right indeed. magnus owns. but i still have some problem defeating cardi. when cardi uses blizzard and magnus uses RI, they both end up disabled, but cardi's freeze lasts longer. so yeah, i'm still looking for a solution but dont forget SM. SM is not the same as magnus. with high Berserker level, SM's RI owns the first hit. just be careful about the weapon, i suggest you use 2h axe, preferably g.axe, and focus on your critical. with a nice damage and critical, you can own most job with a single sonic boom, not to mention in the war, when sb become most usefull. thaT's the difference between SM and magnus. higher critical rate.

no you cant anymore. since PVP map is implemented, PK looting is disabled. only under certain glitch you may be able to loot. at least that's what a staff told me
