  1. I like the idea. Maybe make it a zone where you cannot attack or be attacked. That way you have time to heal/buff, and maybe the opportunity to idle/afk if you need to or stand back and watch a friend or guildmate do something.
  2. Antoni your posts are very helpful! I'm not sure if you ever helped me directly, but your posts have been very informative for me.
  3. You're missing the point; yes, once or twice you can correct them and move on, but when it's every time you're near other players, it becomes tedious. Their age shouldn't come into it either. If people are on an English-speaking server, they should at least be capable of communicating in basic English so that they can make themselves understood with GMs and players alike. I've had numerous trades go straight down the drain because the other party couldn't understand that I was offering them a discount As for 'focusing' on Indonesian language, maybe that's what KamoteTops comes across most. Perhaps, he sees Indo and Pinoy equally, but because of the language barrier, he assumes it's all Indo because, hey, what does it matter? Two languages that someone doesn't understand might well be that same for all that person knows. I'm sure he's not singling Indos out purposefully, but more using it as an umbrella term in reference to all foreign languages. Also: сестра! пари моля!
  4. It's common courtesy to speak the server's official language (in this case, English) to strangers whenever possible in order to avoid confusion. This is especially important on a server where there are large chunks of the player base speaking different languages. This is similar to why there is a no non-English shout' rule; firstly so that all of the GMs can understand what is said, and secondly because the majority of players understand English. @-green-: It's plain to see that you're unimpressed with KamoteTops' post, but the request is perfectly reasonable. Say, hypothetically, you were on a server where the official language is Indonesian. Then, the server somehow becomes very popular with a Slovene-speaking community, and every visit to Alker/Nera/wherever you are spammed with 'zlato' (gold, according to google translate). A few times is inconsequential, but it becomes tiresome when it is pretty much every visit to a populated area. Personally, for ages I thought people were asking me if I was built for crowd control, or maybe typo'd 'DD' when they were spamming me with 'cc' until someone slashed it cc/sister. In fact, that would be a nice compromise; slash an English greeting alongside your own, see how the player responds and go from there. On Topic: When I had first started here (like, using a +7 Wizardly Wand at 105+ because I was just that poor), people were always asking me for cash. It's less frequent now that I could actually afford it...
  5. I don't see what advantage this path has over, say, priest>inquirer>necromancer beyond lightning stun. I know your aim is to have a stun, but I'd still rather have tranquility, cripple, and extra HP/HP recovery/PDef/Crit. Further, much of this path is redundant (cleric is surpassed by priest, and warlock to some extent by necromancer). Why do you need three reskills? That's expensive and wasteful. Two at 105 and 130+ I can understand, but you shouldn't be advising people to reskill at lv80 on a server where 1-105 can take a day if you play hard and have some decent gear. Some pointers: Even with the edits, I would not choose this build. I think you lose a lot of potential from a necromancer simply by not taking inquirer or bishop (of which I would argue inquirer superior). Of course, you may prefer this build (since your sig says you got to 120+) and so may others, but I would at least advise people that reskilling three times is not necessary.
  6. The crit rate in the character window does not affect your magic. You can increase mcrit by increasing your int or wis (wis gives more per point, but int is the better option), magic crit buffs from monk/inquirer/soul arbiter/necromancer, or equipment that gives magic crit (belt of wisdom).
  7. It says patk, but increases matk. I tried it right before my job change reskill to be sure, and my matk went waayy up - it's just a typo. and Nanda, imo the ability to go monk or inquirer is much better than what an elf offers: monk/inquirer: more pdef (21% at monk) than nature's buffs, more crit, LAE, cripple if inq elf: 8% p/mdef, some melee buffs, no LAE It's down to personal preference, but I'd never choose elf to be any mage that doesn't become SA or RM (or maybe like a support cardi). The benefits of the human-only classes are far too great to pass up.
  8. Assuming you took warrior and not guard, you'd have lv2 fighter's heart, risk taker and warrior form. That's not much, but you'd also have the elf fighter auras at lv2, and lv4 solid weapon to back those up.

    EM > SA

If kiss of death doesn't work with spells, I can't see any reason to go EM over bishop, unless you want to support... b's get usable attack spells (lv10 divine sword, lv5 turn undead), orpheus' poem, shrewd spell, fast heal, and a higher lv of hold barrier. em's get what? melee buffs and maybe 14% more crit damage - if it actually works for magic. Oh, and lv15 envenom. oooh. Are there any actual benefits to EM that I'm missing? because it looks like a RM that didn't learn silence rune lol

    Necromancer skills

vital explosion works, but needs to consume a purified ruby (crafted from ruby pieces and purified water). I never used corpse explosion, soul squeeze or devil's armor; I have been told that DA is most definetly bugged. Staff training does work with staves and wands. Can someone else confirm if it still applies with athena's hammer?
